COMPLIANCES UNDER POSH ACT
The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act,
2013 mandates that every employer shall:
Provide a safe working environment at the workplace
Organize workshops and awareness programmes for sensitizing the employees with the provisions of the Act
Organize capacity building and skill building programmes for IC members
Formulate and widely disseminate an internal policy for prohibition, prevention and redressal of sexual harassment at the workplace
The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (“POSH Act”) states that all employers shall:
Ensure a safe working environment at the workplace;
Organize workshops and awareness programmes for sensitizing the employees with the provisions of the Act;
Organize capacity building and skill building programmes for IC members;
Formulate and widely disseminate an internal policy for prohibition, prevention and redressal of sexual harassment at the workplace.
