Our IC Training Programmes are carried out by experienced trainers with demonstrable expertise and Subject matter knowledge about POSH law. The training is aimed at providing IC members with a comprehensive knowledge of their statutory role, responsibilities and powers as specified in POSH Act and its rules.
The programme includes in-depth, scenario-based case studies that recreate real situations encountered in the workplace, and allow participants to apply legal principles to the situations. Questions to check understanding and open discussions are included during the sessions to help reinforce learning and ensure that the material is understood. Special emphasis is laid on the procedure for conducting inquiries in the process of maintaining procedural fairness at each stage.
The training further includes recent and relevant judgments of the Hon’ble Supreme Court and High Courts, so that IC members are kept updated on changing legal interpretations and judicial orders. Participants are taught the preparation of a legally compliant inquiry report (including findings, reasoning and recommendations) in accordance with the statutory requirements and the principles of natural justice.
Delivered in both online and in-person formats, the sessions are fully customisable in order to address the specific needs of an enterprise, organisational structure and industry context. The training helps members of the IC develop the proficiency to carry out fair, unbiased and legally sound inquiries, whilst ensuring strict compliance with matters of confidentiality, neutrality and the procedural integrity of the process.
