Ms. Saba-Anjum Hafeez Shaikh is an Advocate practicing before the Bombay High Court, with experience in Criminal Law, Civil Law, Labour and Industrial Laws, Arbitration, and Family Law.
She is an Associate at Abhay Nevagi & Associates LLP, where she advises clients on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters. Her practice encompasses litigation strategy, legal drafting, dispute resolution, corporate advisory, and statutory compliance. She regularly appears before various courts and tribunals and is actively involved in drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing strategic legal opinions.
In addition to her litigation practice, Adv. Shaikh serves as a Visiting Faculty, sharing her practical legal knowledge and courtroom experience through academic and professional training programmes. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law at the University of Mumbai.
She is also associated with Xinren Information Technologies Private Limited as a POSH & Internal Committee (IC) Trainer, where she conducts POSH awareness programmes, Internal Committee capacity-building workshops, and workplace compliance training. She also reviews and contributes to legal content published on the company’s website, ensuring that it is legally accurate, current, and aligned with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Judicial Researcher at the Bombay High Court, gaining valuable experience in judicial research, legal analysis, and court procedures. She is also empanelled with the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority as a Legal Aid Lawyer, representing litigants in bail applications, appeals, and writ petitions before the Bombay High Court.
